Stranger things x secret cinema

Scripts, backstories, characters, dialogue – this was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever worked on.

Netflix and Stranger Things launched with global phenomenon Secret Cinema – a real-world movie platform counting Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet, Casino Royale, Moulin Rouge + more previously.

I was asked to write the backstory for every in-world character, their dialogue, secret letters, conspiracy emails, in-set design (including an exploding warning message) and, of course, in-world advertising.
